CimentArt Microcement SL declares that its Microcement is guaranteed for 1 year after the end of the application, according to Law 38/1999, of 5 November, of Building Regulation in the following 3 situations, as long as the rules of application are complied with and its technical data sheets are followed to the letter:

Guarantee of non-cracking

CimentArt Microcement never cracks. If a crack ever appears on our Microcement it will always be because the substrate where it has been applied has cracked or fissured.

Adherence guarantee

We guarantee that the Microcement CimentArt does not peel or flake off the support where it is applied.

Guarantee of non-de-toning

We guarantee that CimentArt Microcement CimentArt does not have any apparent discolouration or changes in colour, over time, in interiors. In exteriors we guarantee the non-tarnishing of our range of pale colours, not recommending the use of bright or intense colours as these can be affected over time by atmospheric agents.

*This guarantee does not cover structural movements or settling of the building or home that cause cracks, peeling or flaking of supports where it is applied, capillary humidity, knocks, flooding, furniture that damages the floor or scratches or cracks in its surface caused by incorrect furniture.

Application guarantee

The company carrying out the application will by law offer the end customer a guarantee. These warranties are governed by and based on the European Standard legislation on decorative coatings.

CimentArt Microcement SL is a distributor company of microcement and its derivatives, it is not a company of microcement application, therefore it cannot be responsible in any case for the applications made by professionals or external companies that buy our products.

The application of our products by professionals must be carried out following our working methods without variation.

Product Transport Warranty

Our products are not classified as hazardous for transport (except SB varnish) according to EC directive 67/548 EC and EC regulation 1272/2008.

CimentArt Microcement SL contracts external transport companies and includes in this contracting an insurance for each shipment. At the same moment that our products are sent to the client, the responsibility of the products purchased and sent becomes the responsibility of the transport company and the final client.

Guarantee of Microcement applied on damp surfaces or with capillary humidity

Microcement cannot be applied on substrates which:

Have a humidity of more than 6%.

Have capillary humidity or on plaster or cement substrates that have just been made.

On any paving or wall made with a cement or gypsum-based product, putty, cement glue, monolayer, concrete, levelling paste, etc…) the normal setting and drying time must be allowed (normally 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the type of product, thickness of the layer, ventilation, humidity and ambient temperature.

Under no circumstances apply microcement inside swimming pools, ponds, jacuzzis (areas where water is retained).

CimentArt does not offer any guarantee in these cases in which it has not waited long enough for the drying of the supports or properly treated capillary moisture, before the application of microcement. These areas with damp substrates or capillary humidity cause the microcement to not achieve maximum hardening, stains appear, affect the finish of the varnishes, can produce changes in colours and even cause the microcement to peel off.

Waterproofing guarantees

In the case of areas that receive water such as showers, kitchen or bathroom countertops, bathtubs, sinks, terraces, etc. ensure that the slopes are well done and there are no puddles or areas where water rests.

CimentArt Microcement SL offers with the AQUA range (100% waterproof ready-to-use microcement) a guarantee of total waterproofing in areas that receive water (as described in the paragraph above).

Traditional bi-component microcement is not guaranteed in these areas.

We guarantee that our systems are slip resistant, achieving the C3 Certificate (the highest level of slip resistance) using CimentArt Microspheres.

In CimentArt Microcement SL we are aware that we have to protect our planet. All our products are below the permitted emissions (Volatile Organic Compounds, or VOCs, responsible for the destruction of ozone in the lower layers of the atmosphere) by the European Community Regulations.

CimentArt Microcement SL. is not responsible for the alteration or non-compliance of these rules and the repair of any damage caused and the necessary material will be at the customer’s expense.
